Do you ever dream about people that you haven't seen or even thought about in years?  Where do they come from?  It creeps me out. I always wonder if it means something, or if I should be calling that person to see if they're ok.  In this case, the person is not on talking terms with me, so there's no way I can reach out.

Resolution #10000000929:  I'm going to try to make a bigger effort to post things that I create...  Since I really do create an awful lot of stuff that just kind of disappears into the abyss.

1. Finish my portfolio [And by finish, I mean start on it]

2. Lose 15 lbs [how trite]

3. Do community service at least once every 2 months, and shoot for once a month

4. Finish an RPG for once

It's the day before Christmas Eve Eve... Are you guys prepared?

I'm a bit nervous, I'm singing in a choir tomorrow for the first time in my life.  I can hit notes but i sound awful in falsetto -- i'm just hoping everyone else will drown me out.

Also, im rushing to find something red to wear to church this year because apparently it is just accepted that everyone wears something red to church on christmas -- I missed th memo last year and was the only person wearing black... To make it worse, it was all black, so I felt like a funeral amidst a festive carnival.

All of my handmade gifts are completed, and I only have to purchase one more item.  I had abouut 20 people on my gift list this year and made gifts for most of them ... Unbelievable how much money i saved. Unbelievable how much stress I went under trying to complete!!!!!

I made some pretty cool gifts this year, but my camera stopped working right when i completed my first item... so I never got to take any pictures of the things I made.  I figure it's a sign from God that all my gifts should be made purely for the other person and not for my own selfish showing-off reasons. Either that or it was a sign of God that I need a new camera.

Will I have time to post the next few days?  Mayhap... But if not, happy holidays.

So, last night the author of one of the blogs I read died of a drug overdose.

Removed from his family and living in a world of sin, the details of his life that he chose to share were always very interesting.

The down side?  Nobody, including his friends, knew anything about him.  Last night there was a desperate call on his blog for anybody who might have any information about his relatives -- so that they could be informed of his death...

The internet is so amazing, though I never met this guy, never even saw a picture of him, never even commented on his blog, I felt like I was somehow his friend.  Somewhat of a confidante at least.  He told me and whatever other strangers that might be around more about himself than his family would ever know.

I would link you guys to the blog, but it was taken down today to hide his second life from his family.

I just realized I never posted pictures of my halloween costume.  I decided to skip sexy and go for the lolita look this year... I'm really glad, too... because I was able to wear this to work our church party without any huge issues.

I love Christmas... I love making, buying, gifts and wrapping them... Spending time with people I love... and even receiving gifts [ha]...

But what I do hate is the stress.  Tonight's our circle's Christmas party.  And even though I've had all my Christmas gifts planned out since October, I've been lagging my butt along crafting them up.  Ironically, the gift I started work on first, I finished last.

Waking up at 6AM on a Wednesday morning to finish up work that's been weighing on my mind for months kind of sucks.

Finishing up the work kind of rocks, though.

And now... to wrap my gifts...

Forgot to share this with you guys:  I got honorable mention in the Guild Wars art contest back in Halloween!  Not as good as my 6th place win last year for the 2006 wintersday art contest, but Honorable mention actually had the prize I wanted the most,  so it worked out! Yay.   I won a free, signed copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North -- and a Panda minipet!! (Worth 5 million gold in Guild Wars money! ... I'll take a picture sometime and show you guys my leetness)
