  • Tired of being sick and tired.

So last week I was out of work the entire week due to bronchitis.  I'm shocked I don't have any brain damage because I had a 100+ fever for 4 days straight.  Anyways, I fought back with some antibiotics and codine cough meds, and now I'm somewhat good.

The good news is, I lost some weight.  Not from being sick, but for some reason I was throwing up all of yesterday.  Yep.  Something else is wrong with me.  WHAT THE HEEZY?

    Girls Next Door
    A guilty pleasure.

Anyhow, on a brighter note -- I bought the first season of "Girls Next Door".  It was only $20 bucks per season, and I'm probably going to go buy the rest of them.  I'd have to say that GND is one of my many guilty pleasures.  They're so pretty, and I get to see them naked! And they do such fun things.  It's a really great show, and aside from the nudity, I find it to be fairly innocuous as far as moral issues go.

On the other hand, shows like the Moment of Truth make me cringe.  I can't watch that show at ALL.  It makes me so sick to my stomach.  A lot of people seem to tune into it though, and I'd really like to know why.

What do you find harder to watch?  And... am I alone here in disliking Moment of Truth because of the ick factor?

  • Name Change

Who knew getting married would involve so many different things?  Mostly, I tend to worry about the wedding celebration/ceremonies themselves, but that's because that's the fun part.  However, there have been several other things weighing on my mind -- things like sharing a household (moving?!), joint bank accounts, and... DUN DUN DUN~ changing my name.

Brent has already told me he doesn't really care either way, so the decision is now wholly on me... Which in some ways, makes things feel a lot more difficult.

One of the cool parts about changing my name, though, is that I can finally make "Kim" part of my legal name -- which would be pretty cool.

    My Options:

Keeping my name the way it is
While this sounds nice, I kind of feel like it's a cop-out.  As much as I'm freaking out about losing my original identity, I really think I should change something, once I become part of a "we".

    Hyphenating
Kim Lien (or Khanh Quoc) Nguyen-DeVera
Kim Lien (or Khanh Quoc) DeVera-Nguyen
How would I even choose?  Plus, my signature would be horrendously long.

Making my last name my middle name
Kim Lien (or Khanh Quoc) Nguyen DeVera
Um, it's pretty long.  But at least I'd just be signing Kim DeVera (or Khanh DeVera)

Getting rid of my middle name and adding something cool
    Kim Awesome DeVera
So I can literally say my middle name is "Awesome"

What do you guys think?  Is it good to change my name? And if so, which route should I take?

As ya'll know, I love tokidoki stuff.. But I've never been able to bring myself to buy their jewelry, even though I think it's way adorable!  I'm just not a huge fan of spending money on costume jewelry.

Anyhow, that didn't stop me from taking a hand at making my own tokidoki jewlery out of shrinkydink!!   If I do say so myself, they came out pretty darn cute! :)

  • Nightmares

I had a nightmare last night in which I was obese in all of my wedding pictures.  I woke up thinking.... F***.

So, tomorrow morning, I'm enrolling at a gym.
