  • How-to: simple (super buget) name-place holder

I found this concept somewhere on the interwebs (i have no idea where) but loved the idea so much that I ended up doing it for my wedding.

All this takes is some 18-20 gauge wire -- I bought a roll from from home depot, but you can buy this wire at any craft store -- some wire clippers and some candy.

Step 1: Cut a 7-8 inch piece of wire (or longer or shorter depending on how tall you want your name-tag holder to be

Step 2: Create a 1 inch circle on one end of the wire

Step 3: Twirl the other end of the wire closely around 2-3 times (think key-ring style)

Step 4: Adhere weight (in this case, the candy) to the bottom of the wire.

Ta-da! You're done in less than a minute! Of course, if you're like us and are making 250 of these, then it can get pretty rough.

If you're like me, and just happened to use brown and gold as your decor, a ferero rocher will work out perfectly!
