Thing-a-day day 2: wedding stuff
In order to
reduce the cost of the wedding, I’ve decided to make and arrange all
the flowers for my wedding [with help, ofcourse!] … Anyhow, by
calculations, in order to make 660[how much origami paper I bought]
flowers, I need ato make about 3 a day until the wedding. So far in 4
days since I started, I’ve been able to make 60! Yay~Additionally, I’ve begun prototyping ideas for flower arrangements
for the wedding, starting with the bridesmaids flowers! Let me know
what you think.

you are going to have arthritis by the wedding.
time to put the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and the local highschool art class to work.
so, last night irene, david schein, and I were talking about your wedding. for some reason we brought up the hypothetical question of whether it'd be possible for your wedding to be in like...three months.
irene: "kim could pull it off."
david: "yeah, kim definitely could."
irene: "she'll just do all the work herself and not sleep!"
then several hours later, we check xanga subs and saw this entry, and irene was like, "I totally called it!"
lmao.
super creative.. but a lot of work
OMG, reading your xanga never ceases to amaze me! I really love the design. You are so creative! I personally think you should use a different color ribbon though (black just reminds me of a funeral). But then again, black wedding dresses seems to be in now a days. It all depends on the theme of the wedding. You should experiment using different color ribbons.
Also, congrats on the engagement!
Now that is pretty damn cool. Go you.
how cute! origami flowers! that's crazy the amount you made! sheesh! get workin fast so you can make the origami ice fountain.
They'll last forever! I'm sure the hard work will pay off. Good luck!
When is your wedding?
When is your wedding?

Hahaha @ CaKaLuSa's comment.
That is a wonderful idea and I love what you have done.
Are you going to make your own wedding dress too??
=D
I *LOVE* origami.
I wish I could help you make some but I don't have that exact kind of paper.
It all has to match, right?
=)
But I think this is a wonderful idea.
Props to you, girl!!
that's real cool! you need us all to help?
my old supervisor's friend used origami flowers as well and the couple donated the flower money to charity.
the flowers look great. just be sure you store them somewhere clean and dry. you wouldn't want dust bunny flowers.
these are soo pretty. Good luck!
Wow they look amazing!
Congratulations to you!
good deal, good work.
poop.
Those are so gorgeous and unique. I love the color of ribbon you chose to go with them too. You are so creative.
The flower arrangement looks really really pretty. I always look forward to reading your posts and seeing what your newest project is. Congrats on the engagement!
dude that looks awesome. Ofcourse plain ole me would love to just have the flowers made in offwhite pearl paper. but this is so great. I hope your hands don't become jello before the wedding day.
kim, youre precious....this makes me think of the apartment days when we all got hooked on making the stars.
